Sorry it took me so long... I suck at the whole remembering thing. I can't believe you're 27! I remember when I first met you, good times. I'm really glad we still keep in touch, though I wish I had more opportunities to hang out with you. At least I finally got to meet the wife! You have no idea how happy I am for the two of you. May God bless you both and bring you everything you've ever weanted, while continuing to nuture and expand the love you feel for eachother! She's a keeper, and don't you forget that! Your sons are absolutely perfect, and that's something else I'm really happy for you about. I still can't believe you're a daddy, but you sure are a great one! Happy Birthday Jesse, sorry again for being late!

Where do I begin? I remember the first time I saw you. Looking at Aidan is like seeing you as a baby all over again. You were a very happy baby. Watching you play with your cousins at Thanksgiving time when we would visit. Oh there are so many stories. Do you remember catching fish at our home in South Florida. Your Mom and I were talking about this yesterday. Tracking mud in the house. (Still Loving You Baby) How fast you always could put the mind teaser puzzles together. What a great times they were. Going Hunting with the guys. Talking to you about life, God and current events. We love you so much. Happy Birthday Jesse.

Happy Birthday!
Funny how the circle has been completed. Today I held your Son, my Grandson, felt his trust, felt his curious, joyfilled heart of love that is true as no other time in a life. The love and attachment of a child, God's gift of life that spawns a parents unrelenting instinct to cuddle and protect. What an awesome joy for me. And what an awesome reminder of my Son. I have never forgotten the joy of you and the instinctive urge to cuddle and protect is there for life. I would run to you from anywhere if I heard your sad call. I will never get enough of hearing your laughter, especially if I have created that moment of happiness. What a proud parent you have created Jesse Brian McCann. On May 23rd I met you, so I know we're not very well aquainted yet but I do know that I love you already. Thank you for changing my diaper and making me feel so safe, this world is so cold and bright, but your arms make me feel safe.
