Jeremy holding his son, and his lovely wife Melissa at the same time. These two are such an inspiring couple. Their love for each other, patience, and amazing inspiring views make me proud to be able to call them my friends. I am so amazed and excited to see them with their son.
Me and My Favorite People
Late Fall
I can hardly wait to use that title for a picture that will include little guy and his Daddy. I think this picture was taken just before your first Christmas, looking at it reminds me of all the fun and good times and how much more lies ahead. There you are all big bright eyes and now you're going to be a Mommy. I forgive you for taking so long to make me a Granny, I know you had to find Jeremy first.
P.S. Notice the candlestick. Ignore the picture on the wall - I was going through a phase.

I love remembering when you and Shannon were little girls. (I have pics but I don't have the time or the technology to but them on here tonight). Remember when the two of you used to sing with pretend microphones and interview each other? I knew that you two would always be I am so proud of you. You have always been like a daughter to me...you have been so important to both Steve and Shannon, and I thank you for that... I am amazed at all the love and support that surrounds you and Jeremy. Your baby is already soooo fortunate. He is already so loved!! He is so lucky to have you for a mom (and Jeremy for a dad) Now I'm going to cry...because I am so happy for you...
close friends because even then you were like
sisters.

This picture illustrates Mark's only bit of advise on playing with babies. Wear sweaters, it absorbs the drool.
Adventures...
October 2006
I took this picture of Melissa and Jeremy before they flew to New Zealand for their honeymoon one year ago. What an adventure they had, and what an adventurous year...marriage, world travel, a new beautiful home, and now the baby! I admire them and all their accomplishments and the love they have for one another which results in a new little life. I can hardly wait to meet him...

Melissa!!! We're elated beyond words! Congratulations! Your family is bound to be a smashing success. Let us know if it's more complicated than cats. On this photo- We miss you, we love you, I'm starting to cry.
Taken while camping and hiking near Mt Shasta, CA. Mama Melissa was hilarious, astounded by the setting and, yes, carefree. And Papa Jeremy knew the name of the moth that best resembles a hummingbird. We knew it would all be just right for all of you.
Love!!!!!
