No, but seriously, thank you for your godly example. One word that really describes you is "joy." I feel like every time I see you, you're always joyful to be where you are, excited to be serving, or digging deep into people's lives by asking them questions and caring for them. Galatians 5:22 says "the fruit of the Spirit is....joy." How cool is it that what the world calls a "personality trait" is actually a fruit of the Holy Spirit, which dwells within you? Janet, thank you for being such a good fruit-bearer and allowing the Spirit to work in you. I hope you enjoy this special day!

Hey Janet!
Here is an unpublished great moment from our Florida trip! This is when only you and I were awake in the car (except for Justin who was driving) and probably the last picture taken before that thing exploded.
Thanks for being such a great friend to me and even at 2:00 in the morning!

I'm so blessed to have you as a sister in Christ! You are always so open and humble. I love how you are a great listener and a wise friend. You are very quick to point me to God. And my faith has grown as a result of knowing you. You are an awesome example of a servant, too.
I'm so glad that week got to spend vacation in Florida together, because I t was so cool to see you living for God everyday.
I also think your jokes and stories are funny and sometimes you just say the best things, and I think, "I'm so glad I know Janet!"

Hey Jan,
Happy Birthday! I remember when we first met and I lied to you about being adopted. I knew we were going to be great friends when I realized you really did believe me and then when I told you the truth you started laughing (with your no sound laugh). :) Well, I've enjoyed all the time I've spent with you since then. You are one of the most genuine people I know and I am blessed by your care and kindness every time we get together. Have a blessed birthday my friend! Love, Rena

Janet, we became accountability partners under very odd circumstances. I think it happened something like this:
"Hi, I'm Janet"
"Hi, I'm Amy"
"I don't have an accountability partner"
"Me neither"
"Cool. I guess we should do it together then!"
I'm so thankful for that though, because otherwise I might never have had the chance to fellowship with you, learn from you, or be challenged and encouraged by you. I am SO thankful for your friendship. Not only are you a blast to hang out with, but you are such an example of godliness. You are humble in confessing sin, quick to apply scripture to our conversations, and do such a great job having a Christ-like love for others. I hope that you had a wonderful birthday... we will definitely have to have an accountability celebration or something when you get back =) Love ya!

7. She's always up for any kind of adventure!
8. She's in love with her Savior and doesn't hide it.
9. She makes me want to know God more
10. She is the only other person who has as many embarrassing moments as I do.

If anyone knows Janet...they know she is cold blooded ;D In the winter, she sleeps with gloves on, inside of a sleeping bag, under many layers of blankets.... this is why Janet going outside to decorate our porch with lights is such a big deal! ..... Janet, thank you for serving within 106 B even with the un-fun tasks.. It is so cool to see the heart God has given you for the home... and not just for making things pretty...but for creating a place where relationships can be nurtured and the Gospel can be advanced. I have learned so much from you, Janet!
